Biography Of The Founder
About Chef Rose
Rose Che is the founder and creative force behind Che’s Globally Inspired Catering & Events. Her work sits at the intersection of fine cuisine, cultural memory, and full-service event design. She does not simply organize gatherings. She builds experiences that guests carry long after the evening ends.
Food, for Rose, has never been about sustenance. It has always been about belonging.
Her culinary sensibility was formed early. Growing up watching her mother transform fresh farm produce into meals that gathered and held people together, Rose absorbed a foundational truth: a well-prepared table is an act of love. That conviction drives every engagement she leads.
Armed with an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism and more than fifteen years of professional practice, Rose brings an uncommon combination of academic rigor and hands-on mastery to her craft. Her approach fuses Afrocentric culinary roots with global techniques, always refined by her own signature touch. The result is cuisine that feels both familiar and entirely unexpected.
After 38 years in the United States, Rose brings deep multicultural fluency to Cincinnati’s dining and events landscape. She designs custom menus, orchestrates full-service event production, and holds one standard across every engagement: nothing generic, nothing forgettable. From intimate private dinners to landmark celebrations, her process ensures that cuisine and atmosphere work as a single, cohesive statement.
Rose Nguti Che, a Cameroonian-born chef and event specialist, has lived in the U.S. for over 35 years and leads Che’s Globally Inspired from Cincinnati. Her culinary journey began in Santa-Mbu, Cameroon, influenced by her family’s dedication to fresh ingredients. Rose prepares Cameroonian-inspired dishes with a creative twist, focusing on fresh ingredients, bold spices, and balanced taste profiles. With extensive training at the FreshLo Culinary Institute, Rose combines her passion for food and exceptional service to create memorable experiences.
